About Our President - Jeff Metke graduated from Washington State University in 1984 with a degree in Construction Management, but his interest in woodworking dates back to childhood. While friends were buying cars and stereos, Jeff was buying tools.

After college, Jeff worked in light commercial construction. Then, when asked to do finish carpentry work on a home - doors, windows, stairs, cabinets and mantels - his love for woodworking and craftsmanship was rekindled. After adding home construction, remodeling and design work to his repetoire, Jeff opened Metke Remodeling & Woodworking, in 1990.
