Quality workmanship is part of everything we do at Metke Remodeling & Luxury Homes. From the initial consultation to the final walk-through, we prioritize quality communication as highly as quality building standards. That means we think ahead about things like existing elements of a home and how they could create setbacks after demolition, or whether certain materials are available at the right time. A million decisions go into creating a smooth process with no scheduling or budget adjustments. And our team of talented craftspeople helps to position us to deliver on our promises every time. As a design-build firm, everything is planned collaboratively ahead of time, and we complete the design with real cost numbers. And if there are any changes along the way, a daily email, phone call, or text from us means you hear about them as we go.

How Long Do Home Additions Take?
“The design is dependant upon the style of your project and it’s also dependent on how decisive you are. Typically a project for like a kitchen and bathroom, you’re looking at 30-60 days. From conception to being ready to build, we call it hammer ready. If you’re going to do a whole house renovation or large addition maybe even a new home you can expect that time frame to stretch. 90 days maybe even 3 or 4 months. A lot of that is really going to hinge on how clear you are with your direction, how receptive and how decisive you are along the way. The next step ,obviously, to get to that stage is how long does it take to get permitted? If there’s not much structural work, permits can take you know 2-4 weeks. If it’s a lot of footprint change and a lot of structural work, that permit process can run 2-4 months.” – Jeff Metke 1990 to Present – Owner/Operator Metke Remodeling & Luxury Homes
