Cabinets: Good versus Great

Posted on by Teresa Metke

What makes a cabinet great? Metke Remodeling & Luxury Homes partners with several of the area’s finest custom cabinet companies. We work with these companies because their commitment to quality and value are on par with our own. In this way we can ensure every project has the cabinets and solutions that best fit the specific client needs. One of these companies, DeWils Fine Cabinetry, worked with us to design and install a kitchen in our very own home (and Metke Remodeling is a certified DeWils dealer). Take a look at how it turned out in this months featured project! DeWils cabinets offers an excellent drawer system, including soft close hinges from Blum Hardware as a standard on all cabinets. All drawers are full extension with dove tail jointing and cabinets are constructed with ½” thick exterior grade plywood, including their European cabinets! That means water won’t be an issue with these boxes! As with all of our cabinetry partners, DeWils kitchens tend to last longer because of their quality of craftsmanship and superior materials. And DeWils is a family owned and operated American company. They rely heavily on the human eye to detect flaws or errors in the cabinets, which gives them their excellent reputation for their outstanding quality. There is always room for improvement, which is why DeWils never stops improving their systems. They are constantly coming up with new door styles and finishes, which is why they are our favorite cabinet manufacture in the industry! wrap up all of the vendors we use are great and our goal is to ensure that your cabs are the highest quality and a great fit for your project. When you work with Metke to remodel a kitchen or bathroom, or build your new home from the ground up, you can rest assured that any of the fine cabinetry companies we bring into your project will deliver the highest quality and best value… and of course a product that will last for years and offer timeless beauty.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner el_class=”post-right” width=”1/3″][vc_widget_sidebar sidebar_id=”sidebar-1″][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row]]]>
