David Hanley

Dave like so many in this industry got started at a very young age. He loved building things with his hands and helping out his grandfather doing surveying work. After graduating from the University of Oregon with a BS in Sociology, Dave quickly learned his passion was leading him in a different direction. Dave started off framing houses for a local builder and developed his keen eye for remodeling. He was even able to open up his own General Contracting company. Dave closed up shop after 8 successful years so he could spend more time with his family, which led him to seek work with a reputable remodeling company. He worked for a small local company as a foreman until joining the Metke production team in 2019. Dave’s favorite part about the construction industry is building great relationships with trade partners and clients. His favorite type of projects are remodels that involve additions, “there are fewer surprises with new construction. If I can build it new, then I know it is done right!”.
