West Linn Retreat

This whole-home remodel was designed to blend elevated style with practical improvements that support modern living. The kitchen was reimagined to offer more usable space, accommodate seating for four or more at the striking slate-blue island, and introduce fresh, functional features—including creamy perimeter cabinetry with warm stained details, a fluted hood, and a beverage bar complete with undercounter refrigerator drawers and a built-in coffee maker.

In the living room, the outdated brick wood-burning fireplace was transformed into a stunning linear gas fireplace wrapped in a faux-finished marble-look façade and flanked by custom built-ins and new lighting. The hand-painted fireplace surround draws the eye upward to the vaulted ceiling, adding a bold and artistic statement, while custom cabinetry on either side provides symmetry and storage.

The primary bathroom received a spa-like upgrade with a steam shower, a freestanding tub nestled into a detailed alcove, a stained vanity, and intricate moldings that give the space architectural interest. Throughout the home, thoughtful design solutions were implemented to overcome challenges like integrating new drain lines and venting systems into the existing framing—resulting in a seamless, cohesive remodel that honors both function and beauty.
