Riverside Gem

This client had an eye for detail and high-end taste so the end result was subtle but stunning.  The overall aesthetic outcome of this project pays homage to Pacific Northwest Modernism, with the use of natural materials – wood and stone.  Those two elements alone were the highlight of this remodel and made a huge impact on the final aesthetic.  The level of detail and craftsmanship in the walnut cabinets & paneling in the Kitchen and Living room allowed for statement pieces and the quartzite selected for countertops, splash, and fireplace surround was the perfect backdrop.

The Master Bathroom had a simpler, paint-grade wood cabinet, which allowed the dramatic veining and coloration of the marble to stand out, which was the statement piece in this room.

The Guest Bedroom converted into Her Master Closet and took on a lighter, more traditional, feminine look with lots of sparkle.  Even in this room, there is evidence of craftsmanship.  The client chose to highlight a few walls with a plaster finish that required an applied stencil pattern that was covered in gold flecks and glass beads.
